This is the first vintage of the Eileen Cabernet, and it does not disappoint. Its ripe with a concentrated seductive nose of currant, violet, cedar shavings and black truffles. A saturated dark ruby color leads to elegant and generous flavors of black Muscat, black currant, licorice and a touch of anise. Although drinkable now, this is a cabernet that will reward you with a few years of patience in your wine cellar.
